Green Oceans was founded in January 2023 by a non-partisan group of community members dedicated to combating climate change without sacrificing biodiversity or the health of the ocean.
Fight for the protection of clean water and clean air in the Brayton Point neighborhood and greater community
Organize, collaborate, and share information about the ongoing development of the old Brayton Point Power Plant
Educate and inform the community about the risks of the businesses at the property and how they conduct business
Advocate at local meetings for strict conditions to reduce the impact on all neighbors
Work with local, state and federal officials to ensure that the strictest rules, laws and regulations are applied to any new business operating at the old Brayton Point Power Plant
Ensure the residential areas adjacent to the old Brayton Point Power Plant are not negatively impacted by new business; whether it be noise, light, odors, or dust that needs to be contained to the property. We work to ensure that everyone gets to safely enjoy their homes, yards and neighborhood
Prevention of further businesses non-conforming with the town of Somerset from operating in Somerset and endangering other neighborhoods
We are an alliance of grassroots environmental and community organizations, scientists, and conservationists working to protect the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale and other marine life from the industrialization of our ocean habitat through large-scale offshore wind energy development.
Save Right Whales Coalition is committed to educating the public and political leaders on the harms of offshore wind on ocean life and for those who live, work, and visit our coastal communities.

ACK for Whales (ACK4WHALES) is a group of Nantucket community members who are concerned about the negative impacts of offshore wind development off the south shores of our beloved Island. The MA/RI wind area is bigger than the state of Rhode Island and will ultimately be occupied by 2,400 turbines, each taller than the John Hancock building in Boston, connected by thousands of miles of high voltage cables. There are many unanswered questions, and the permitting of these massive utility projects has happened largely out of the public eye. We provide a community group of neighbors and friends, who all love the same place.

NOOA Offshore-Wind Opposition Alliance is a single-issue coalition made up of environmental, fishing, and community organizations as well as Tribal Nations. Our mission is to protect the oceans, the Great Lakes, and nearby communities from the negative impacts of industrialization by offshore-wind "farms" and the nearshore and onshore infrastructure necessary to support and deliver electricity to the grid. We work to educate the public,to mobilize affected communities, dialogue with government officials, engage the media, and strategically litigate to end the threat of offshore wind proliferation.

Save the East Coast Inc. is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit and non-partisan ocean environmental advocacy group based in NJ determined to protect the ocean, coastal ecosystems and coastal communities from the harms and costs associated with offshore wind industrialization.
The Corporation purpose is to advocate on behalf of all impacted marine species, the livelihoods of fisherman and others that make a living on the water, as well as local and seasonal residents, small businesses and tourists that will be devastated by the reckless transformation of our coastal waters into industrial power generation and transmission facilities.
Barnstable Speaks is an independent, community supported, grassroots organization, formed in September 2023. Our group was started by a small group of concerned citizens who came together to fight a proposed offshore wind farm from landing its high-voltage electric cables under beautiful Craigville Beach and the Centerville River, down our historic village Main Street and under the roads of our residential neighborhoods and commercial areas in the Village Centerville, Cape Cod. Our work began and continues as a voice for the citizens of Centerville and the surrounding villages of Barnstable.
